England too had their struggles with the bat as Renuka Singh made the new ball talk making it difficult when the ball was new. But a partnership between Alice Capsey and Sciver Brunt which added 42 runs made sure that India had hardly any chance to stage a dramatic comeback. Deepti Sharma who was introduced in the ninth over managed to scalp two in two deliveries but that was not enough to restrict the English side under 80.
